How to choose a floor...

There are many factors that enter in to choosing the right floor, whether you are interested in hardwood flooring, tile flooring, carpet or an eco-friendly bamboo flooring material.

To make the process a bit easier, here are a few things to consider:

1. Lifestyle: What do you do on this floor? What does a day in the life of this floor look like? Pets and kids running around, or a formal dining area? Lounging on the soft carpet in front of the fire, stepping out of bed with bare feet?

Choosing the right product for your lifestyle is vital. Finding the product that will be durable in your application and will have the features to make it fit in to your home is the first step.

2. Style: What look are you going for? A contemporary modern feel? A cozy cabin look? Bright colors to open the space up? Finding the right style is important.

3. Budget: We all have a budget for every project...are you looking for the high end hardwood to act as a show piece in your dining room, or a budget carpet for the kid's room. Establishing and sticking to a budget is important in the enjoyment of your new floors.
